“Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, ‘Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ God granted him that which he requested.”
Prayer
O God of Israel, I cry to You as Jabez did. You are the God who transforms pain into purpose and sorrow into strength. Today, I declare that no chain of affliction will define me or my household. Every cycle of grief, disappointment, and inherited sorrow is broken by the power of Your hand. I refuse to be bound to yesterday’s wounds, for You are enlarging my territory and making me fruitful in the land of my affliction.
Father, stretch out Your hand upon my life and upon my family. Where there has been pain, let there now be prosperity. Where there have been tears, let there now be testimonies. Drive out every spirit of shame and rejection that has whispered against our destiny. Every curse assigned to keep us small and hidden is shattered in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, as You increase my border, I surrender my wounds to You. I release bitterness, unforgiveness, and sorrow at Your feet. I choose to walk in the wholeness of Your blessing. Let the oil of Your favor rest upon me, and let every enemy of my soul be silenced under the weight of Your glory.
I decree that from this day forward, my life will not be marked by pain but by peace, not by sorrow but by songs of deliverance. I step boldly into the enlargement of territory You have ordained for me and my family.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
