The Lord Rebuke You

Yahweh said to Satan, “Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”

—Zechariah 3:2 WEB

Prayer

Lord, I stand before You, not in my own righteousness, but covered by Your mercy. The enemy has accused me, tried to stain me with shame, but You, O Lord, have spoken a better word. You have said, “The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan.” And I cling to that declaration today.

I may feel like a brand plucked out of the fire—scarred, singed, and weak—but You have rescued me. You have pulled me from destruction and called me Your own. I am not abandoned to the flames. I am redeemed. I am chosen.

Father, I trust in Your rebuke against the adversary. I do not fight in my own strength, but I take shelter in Your authority. When the enemy whispers lies, You silence him with truth. When he brings up my past, You remind him that I have been cleansed. When he tries to pull me down, You lift me up with Your right hand.

Cover me today, Lord, with the garments of Your salvation. Clothe me in the righteousness that comes from Christ alone. Set Your seal upon me, that the enemy may know I am Yours and cannot be touched without Your permission.

Thank You for being my defender, my advocate, and the One who stands with me in the fire. I surrender my fears and rise in faith, trusting that every accusation falls powerless at the sound of Your voice.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
