“God, you are my God; I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.”
Prayer
O God, my God, I come before You with a trembling longing, a holy ache rising in my soul before the dawn breaks. You alone satisfy, You alone awaken my inner man, and You alone draw me into the secret place where early pursuit becomes my lifeline. I confess that without You I am dry, weary, and wandering, but with You I am quickened to seek, strengthened to persevere, and revived in the depths of my being. Let my mornings drip with desire for You, O Living God, until seeking becomes as natural as breathing.
I rise to declare that You are worth my earliest thoughts and my deepest devotion. Let every dawn become an altar and every whisper of morning wind become an invitation into intimacy. Stir my heart so that seeking You is never casual, never optional, never delayed. Let the hunger burn, let the holy thirst intensify, and let my whole being lean toward You with eagerness. I choose You first, You foremost, You above all else. Draw me so strongly that nothing competes with Your presence.
O Lord, ignite an unending pursuit in me. Make my mornings sacred with Your nearness, my days steady with Your presence, and my nights anchored in Your faithfulness. I seek You because You are my life, my joy, and my portion forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
