“So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.”
Prayer
O Sovereign God, Ancient of Days, I come before You with holy awe, lifting my eyes to behold You as You truly are. You are the God who reveals Yourself to the hungry in the sanctuary of intimacy. My soul bows before Your majesty, longing to witness Your power and Your glory with unveiled clarity. Let every veil be removed—every distraction, every dullness, every weight that blinds my inner sight. Draw my spirit into the holy place where You make Yourself known.
Lord, open the eyes of my heart so that my days are marked by awareness of Your nearness. Let me behold You in the rhythms of my life just as David beheld You in Your sanctuary. As I worship, let Your presence break in like light through darkness. As I pray, let Your glory rest on me and my family like a mantle. Let my spirit know You, not from a distance, but from that sacred closeness where revelation flows like living water.
O God of glory, let Your power be visible in my home, my work, my decisions, and the hidden spaces of my heart. Let the evidence of Your hand quiet every fear. Let the brilliance of Your glory overwhelm every lie. Let the weight of Your presence define my identity, my purpose, and my steps. I behold You, and I am forever changed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
