On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work which God had created and done.
God's Word to You
My child, I reveal My rest to you not as weakness, but as completion. When I finished My work, I rested, and in that rest I declared wholeness, order, and sufficiency. I did not rest because I was weary; I rested because nothing was lacking. I sanctified that rest and blessed it, showing you that rest is woven into My design and sustained by My holiness.
You are not created to strive without end or to measure your worth by unbroken labor. I have shown you from the beginning that rest belongs within My purposes. As I ceased from My works, I set apart rest as sacred, not as an escape, but as a dwelling place where what has been completed is enjoyed and preserved. My rest does not deny work; it affirms that the work has been rightly ordered.
When your strength feels spent and your days feel overextended, remember that My rest flows from what I have already done. I am not calling you to earn stillness or to prove your exhaustion. I have blessed rest itself, and I invite you into what I have declared holy. In My rest, you are not forgotten, delayed, or diminished. You are sheltered within My intention.
I know the weight you carry and the effort you pour out. Yet I remind you that rest was not created as a reward for endurance but as a gift within creation itself. I rested, and I made that rest available, so that you would know that your life is sustained by Me and not by your striving.
Abide in the rest I have blessed. It is not empty or idle. It is filled with My presence, My order, and My sustaining power. I have made room for you to breathe, to be restored, and to stand whole within what I have already completed.
I have blessed rest, and I uphold you within it.
I am faithful to sustain what I have finished.
