You Are the God Who Sees

She called the name of Yahweh who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees,” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

— Genesis 16:13 WEB

God's Word to You

My beloved child, I am the God who sees you. I see you where you are, not where others assume you should be. I see the weight you carry, the tears you hide, and the weariness that has settled into places you no longer have words to describe. You are not invisible to Me, and you are not overlooked in your distress. As I saw Hagar in her isolation and spoke to her in the wilderness, so I see you and attend to you now.

I see you not with distant observation, but with covenant care. My eyes are not passive; they are purposeful. I see your suffering, and I remain present with you in it. You are alive because I sustain you. You endure because I have not withdrawn My attention from you. Even in moments when you feel exposed, uncertain, or displaced, My gaze rests on you with mercy and intent.

You do not have to prove your pain for Me to acknowledge it. I do not require explanation before I draw near. I am the God who sees before you speak, who knows before you ask, and who remains when others pass by. Your exhaustion does not repel Me. Your grief does not distance you from My care. I see you fully, and I stay.

When you wonder whether you can survive what you are walking through, remember that you stand because I have watched over you. When you feel alone in unfamiliar territory, know that My presence has already met you there. You are not abandoned in the wilderness of your season. I am with you in it, and I see every step you take.

I am the God who sees, and My sight over you has not dimmed.

I remain attentive to you, and My care does not waver.
