A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul. Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
Prayer
Father, I rise this morning with a shout of praise on my lips. Like the psalmist, I say, “Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn!” (Psalm 108:2). Let my worship be louder than worry, and my adoration rise before the sun itself. I will not enter this day in silence—I will command the morning with thanksgiving, declaring that You alone are worthy.
Every fiber of my being joins in praise—my voice, my hands, my mind, and my spirit. I refuse to let the rocks cry out in my place. I choose to magnify You before my schedule begins, before tasks and deadlines pull at my attention. You are my strength, my song, and my salvation. I offer this morning to You as an altar of praise.
Let the heavens hear my sound and let the earth respond in blessing. I don’t praise You because life is perfect; I praise You because You are faithful. You are enthroned on my hallelujahs. Let my praise prepare the way for Your glory to manifest in my day.
