But Yahweh was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. The keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever they did there, he was responsible for it. The keeper of the prison didn’t look after anything that was under his hand, because Yahweh was with him; and that which he did, Yahweh made it prosper.
Favor can find you even where circumstances seem to have confined you. Joseph was not in a palace when the hand of God distinguished him; he was in prison, surrounded by limitation, injustice, and delay. Yet the presence of Yahweh turned a locked place into a place of divine positioning. You are reminded that favor is not controlled by location, human approval, or outward advantage. When God is with you, even difficult environments can become places where your gifts are noticed, your character is refined, and your assignment is quietly prepared. The keeper of the prison trusted Joseph because God’s presence made his life fruitful and reliable. Your day may include rooms you did not choose, conversations you did not expect, or responsibilities that feel beneath your promise. Still, God can cause favor to rest on your diligence, wisdom, and faithfulness. Nothing entrusted to God is wasted, and nothing under His hand is forgotten.

Prayer
Father, I rise into this day with confidence that Your presence is the true source of favor. I do not measure my life by the doors that appear closed, the rooms that feel limited, or the delays that have tested my heart. I declare that You are with me, and because You are with me, no environment has the final authority over my destiny. Let Your hand rest upon me in visible and invisible ways today.
I surrender every assignment, responsibility, conversation, and decision into Your care. Make me faithful where I am. Make me excellent with what has been placed in my hands. Let my attitude, diligence, wisdom, and integrity carry the fragrance of Your Spirit. Where others may overlook effort, let Heaven record faithfulness. Where people see limitation, let Your favor reveal preparation.
I declare that this day will not be wasted. Even in places that feel uncomfortable, You are working purpose into me. Even when circumstances appear delayed, You are aligning what belongs to my future. I reject discouragement, resentment, and spiritual passivity. I will not allow hard places to make me bitter, careless, or blind to Your hand. I choose to serve well, speak wisely, and move with covenant confidence.
Father, cause the right people to recognize what You have placed upon my life. Give me favor with those who have authority, influence, and responsibility. Let trust be established where trust is needed. Let my name be remembered for the right reasons. Let the work of my hands prosper because Your presence is upon me, and let my family partake of the grace that follows obedience.
Today, I command every hidden place to become a place of divine activity. I speak fruitfulness over restricted spaces, peace over pressure, wisdom over uncertainty, and favor over every assignment. What the enemy meant to use for delay, let it become preparation. What seemed like confinement, let it become positioning. What felt forgotten, let it become evidence that You were working all along.
Thank You, Father, for being with me before doors open, before circumstances change, and before people understand what You are doing.
