Joy Appointed by Me

For you shall keep the feast to Yahweh your God seven days in the place which Yahweh chooses, because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.

— Deuteronomy 16:15 WEB

God's Word to You

My child, I have not left joy to chance or circumstance. I have appointed joy as part of your covenant life with Me. As I blessed the work of the hands of My people, I commanded gladness to rise among them—not as a suggestion, but as a rightful response to My faithfulness. Your weariness has not canceled My blessing, and your fatigue has not diminished what I have placed in your hands. I see your labor, and I am mindful of every effort offered before Me.

I am the One who blesses your increase. I am the One who establishes the work you do. When you feel that your strength is small and your energy is gone, remember that My joy is not drawn from your reserves but from My abundance. I do not require you to manufacture gladness. I call you into joy because I am present with you, blessing you, sustaining you, and keeping you.

Even in seasons where effort feels heavy and reward seems delayed, I remain faithful to My promise. I have never separated My blessing from My presence. Where I am, joy has a rightful place. I do not overlook your days of obedience, nor do I forget your perseverance when your heart feels tired. My blessing rests upon you, and from that blessing flows a joy that steadies you.

I know how weariness presses upon the soul, but I have ordained joy to lift the heart. This joy is not shallow or fragile. It is rooted in the truth that I am your God and that My hand is active in your life. As I bless you, joy follows—not because everything is easy, but because I am faithful.

You are not abandoned to endless striving. I am with you in the work of your hands, and I am present in the fruit that comes from it. My joy is not taken from you by hardship, nor is it silenced by fatigue. I call you to be altogether joyful because I remain altogether faithful.

I bless you, and I remain with you.

My joy stands as your portion.
