God said, βLetβs make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.β God created man in his own image. In Godβs image he created him; male and female he created them.
Before anyone noticed you, wanted you, rejected you, compared you, or labeled you, God gave you dignity. You were not created as an accident, a body to be judged, a personality to be performed, or a heart to be used. You were made in the image of God. That means your worth is deeper than attraction, approval, likes, relationship status, or mistakes. Purity begins here: your body and soul belong to the One who designed you with honor. When pressure tells you to prove your value, Scripture calls you back to truth. You are not trying to become valuable. You already carry God-given worth.
Prayer
Father, I come to You with my whole life, not hiding the places where I have questioned my worth. Thank You for creating me in Your image and giving me dignity before anyone else had an opinion about me. I receive the truth that I am not random, worthless, or defined by how others see me.
Teach me to honor what You made. Heal the parts of me that have felt pressured to prove my value through attention, attraction, relationships, or appearance. Forgive me for agreeing with lies that made me treat myself or others carelessly. Give me clean eyes to see my body, my thoughts, and my choices through Your truth.
I declare that my identity is rooted in You, not in comparison, rejection, or desire. Help me walk with confidence, humility, and purity that flows from belonging to Christ. Let my future choices reflect the honor You placed on my life from the beginning. In Jesusβ name, Amen.
