Prayer
Father, I receive the promise of Your presence over my journey. I refuse to measure my peace by the ease of the road, the speed of my progress, or the clarity of every detail before me. You are not sending me forward without Yourself. You are not asking me to carry life in my own strength. Your presence goes with me, and because You go with me, my heart can rest.
I surrender every anxious movement, every restless decision, and every burden that has made me feel as though I must secure my own way. Teach me to recognize the difference between obedience and striving. Teach me to move when You lead, pause when You restrain, and trust when You are working beyond what I can see. Let Your peace settle the places in me that have been disturbed by uncertainty.
Let my life and family come under the government of Your presence. May our home not be ruled by panic, pressure, confusion, or fear. Establish an atmosphere where Your nearness is honored, Your voice is welcomed, and Your rest becomes our portion. When demands rise around us, keep our hearts anchored in the confidence that You are with us.
I declare that I will not run ahead of You to escape discomfort, and I will not shrink back from obedience because the path feels demanding. Your presence is enough for the road before me. Your companionship is stronger than my questions. Your faithfulness is greater than the weight I have carried.
