Prayer
O Most High God, my Refuge and my Eternal Shield, I step into this year declaring that I choose to dwell deeply in You. I hide myself and my family beneath Your wings, taking my rest under the shadow of the Almighty. You are the place where storms lose their power and where danger loses its authority. I run into You with confidence, knowing that Your presence is not only my protection—it is my home.
Lord, establish in me a heart that abides, not visits; a spirit that dwells, not drifts. As I remain in You, saturate every corner of my year with Your covering. Let Your presence hover over my house, follow my steps, guard my decisions, and preserve my family. May every assignment of darkness collapse before the nearness of Your glory.
Father, teach me to speak boldly the truth of who You are. Let my declaration echo through the year: You are my refuge and my fortress. Where others lean on strength, strategy, or security systems, I put my trust in Your name alone. Surround my children with divine insulation. Surround my spouse, my relationships, my finances, my health, and every endeavor with the force field of Your presence.
Lord, shield us from hidden dangers and unseen traps. Cancel premature disaster. Block every plan designed to drain, derail, or distract us. Let the secret place be our constant posture, our unshakeable position of confidence. As we trust in You, let Your protection be visible, tangible, undeniable.
Great Fortress of my life, strengthen my resolve to stay anchored in Your presence. Let this year be marked by supernatural peace, safety, and divine rest because I have chosen You as my home. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
